ALBANY CHILDREN'S CENTER WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR ANNA MANSKER

My name is Anna Mansker.  I am pleased to announce that I am the new Albany Children’s Center Director.  I am honored and excited to join Albany Unified School District.  I care deeply about high quality early learning programs for young children and their families.  I come to Albany with 11 years of teaching experience (preschool and early elementary) and 8 years of experience working as an early childhood administrator.

During my tenure with Oakland Unified School District, I supervised five child development centers and I was the founding principal for the largest preschool in Oakland.  I am comfortable and familiar with school operations, developmentally appropriate practice, state and district compliance, program development, and systems alignment.

The early years of every child’s life are critical.  Their experiences and interactions are great predictors of how successful they will be.   I am committed to ensuring Albany Children’s Center fosters the social, emotional, physical and academic development of each child.

I am excited to join a team of dedicated individuals who care deeply about young children and their families.  I look forward to building new relationships and partnerships within Albany.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to get to know Albany’s children and families.

Thank you very much for welcoming me into the Albany family.  I look forward to meeting each of you personally.  Please seek me out if ever you have questions or concerns; I have an open door policy and I welcome conversation, as time allows.  My email is [email protected].
