On Wednesday, August 24, 2022, the Board of Education will hold a special workshop from 6:00-9:00 in the Ocean View Elementary School Library. The purpose of the workshop is for the Superintendent and School Board to develop goals and objectives for the 2022-23 school year. This meeting will not be recorded. On June 27, 2022, Governor Gavin Newsom signed an on-time budget. The budget maintained several proposals that were included in the May Revision; however, many changes have been incorporated in the final state budget. Education Code Section 42127(h) specifies that no later than 45 days after the Governor signs the annual Budget Act, the District shall make available for public review any revisions in revenues and expenditures that it has made to its budget to reflect the funding made available by that Budget Act.
