Albany's Pride, an LGBTQIA+ advocacy and engagement group for Albany Unified School District, invites everyone to join us in celebrating National Coming Out Day with a chalking party! On Thursday, Oct. 10, from 4:30–5:30pm, students, staff, families, and community members are invited to chalk a beautiful Progress Pride flag outside of Albany High School. Come prepared for a colorful experience with washable chalk, and stay to enjoy snacks and refreshments. Albany's Pride is committed to ensuring that the sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression of all members of our AUSD community are valued, respected, and celebrated.
