Special Board Workshop, Tue. 10/5/21, 5:30-7:30pm: Nuts and Bolts of IDEA-Special Education

The AUSD School Board will hold a special workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 5th to receive training and discuss the Nuts and Bolts of IDEA - Special Education. The workshop will be held via Zoom Webinar (ID 96977397193). NOTICE AUSD Student Achievement Committee

AUSD Student Achievement Committee Accepting Applications (Maddy Act Notice extended)

AUSD is seeking applicants to serve on the newly formed Board-Appointed Student Achievement Committee. The purpose of the Student Achievement Committee is to serve as the advisory body for the District’s Local Control and Accountability Plan development process;  review student achievement metrics and recommend strategies to close equity and opportunity gaps; and review social emotional/mental health metrics and recommend strategies to close equity and opportunity gaps. Parents/guardians representing various student groups are encouraged to apply. The original Maddy Act Notice posted has been extended and will remain open until all positions have been filled.
