Albany Middle School was spotlighted at the December 8, 2015 Board of Education meeting. Principal Brill highlighted the many student clubs available at Albany Middle School and thanked the many teachers who give generously of their time and energy to make these clubs possible.

my name is non important key and I am and my name is Owen right and I'm the vice president of Best Buy best place is it called Goose kids with special needs a chance to interact with kids's without special needs  I choose best buddies because I thought that it was great idea and I thought it was a great opportunity for leadership and is come to the school next year and he has rebujos and so he would be a part of the cob get a feel for it and try to make it as best as I possibly could so that it would be start where I left off next year am I supposed to be in Vespers because  one in The Stockade for mr. aler who teaches the what does class  my mom actually told me about it after back to school  I felt that I could be a good leader best buddies  I think this club is important to a mess because what is a lot of time these kids in special ed class don't get a lot of opportunities to interact with kids who are just in the normal classes and go to the everyday classes and I think that it would be a great opportunity play for kids in special ed class to learn how to interact well with quote-unquote normal people and quote-unquote normal and frustrating thing and you have to have a lot of patience and understand I wanted to be in this club is important to a mess because like Christmas often don't have the same experience in making friends as kids without special needs because they are kind of secluded people exclude a lot more  it's good for General ed students because thing can run how to not exclude people who are different than them and they learn how to make different kinds of friends than they're used to my name is Maxine cheetah I am in Peak Pierce educating Albanese kids I should be in Peak because I wanted to be a roll for the 6th grade and have them look up to me and Pete we do activities involving all the kids and teaching on battery Community I enjoy making a difference in our school and the my name is Tatiana Lira I am in the news and I just be involved in his favorite Club because it seemed like a good idea and I was really interested in the fact that I get to interview people in my pool stories about them when is usually nice to get the Insight from everyone around me and this club is important to AMS because if you'd like to hear about the things I haven't around school then let's go to the newspaper and it'll be there my name is Ella and I'm in Garden Club I think it's cool to be involved in the club that helps you environment a better be a better place also so anyone to learn the processes process and gardening like reading planting and watering gardening helps our world and environment be a much better and beautiful place I'm Luke I'm Carolyn and I'm Eliana GSA I'm involved in this club because I care about LGBT + rights and gender stereotypes  this club is important to a mess because you need to know all the differences in people and there's no such thing as normal a lot of different kinds of people in this school and it's good to stand up for kids like they sometimes might get teeth okay my name is Max Max my Ally and I'm in the freestyle soccer club and it's on the field during lunch on every Friday and I wanted to do this because I I play soccer and in a club and I also play on the school team actually and it's really fun and I looked up a bunch of famous really good freestyle soccer players on YouTube and they're all really cool so to be able to do that kind of stuff and I think it's really important for him that's because it's one of the only it's one of the I'm clubs that's like a sport and it gets people really active and it's it's kind of different than the soccer that we normally do field so it's really cool one yeah
