California School Dashboard

The California School Dashboard provides parents and the community with a snapshot of several indicators of school quality beyond assessment performance in English language arts and mathematics. It includes measures of the progress of students who are English learners, graduation rates, colleges and career readiness, chronic absenteeism, suspension rates, and more.

The California School Dashboard provides performance levels represented in easy-to-understand color-coded pie pieces which reflect both current performance and changes in performance over time: blue (highest), green, yellow, orange, and red (lowest).  

This accountability system helps us ensure we are tracking the performance of our students and that students most in need of help do not go unseen. The recent results provide reason for AUSD to celebrate the many successes of our teachers and administrators, while calling attention to the important work still outstanding for specific student groups, allowing us to concentrate efforts and resources to best meet their needs.
