We will be having the 2024 Winter Choir Festival on Saturday, December 14 at the Ocean View Multi-purpose Room from 10:00 am to Noon.  All 5th grade choir students are encouraged to attend.

The Festival is for all grades TK through 12 and you will be able to witness the progression from youngest to oldest and the musical skills children gain in the AUSD vocal music program.  Take a look at the schedule below.

11:00am–1pm Winter Carnival Booths outside the multi-purpose room. Caramel Apple Lollipop Game, Winter Candy in Jar & guess the number to win, Raffle (ice skating tickets & more), Bounce House, knock down objects with a ball game, ring toss game, Snow ball fight (with soft, puffy balls), craft station, baked goods donated & make hot chocolate & hot apple cider.  The Albany Music Fund will sponsor this event, so it is free to everyone.  We are planning for the outside games to go from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

ATTIRE:  New Choir t-shirts arriving in November and dark pants, skirts or leggings

10:00 am PROGRAM ORDER:
10:00 am Si Si Sote Group Song as students stand in big circle around the audience
10:04 am TK/K students sing a song
10:08 am AHS Treble Chamber Ensemble on stage
10:12 am First Grade students rotate the circle to the front and sing a song
10:15 am AMS Cobra Choir (6th Grade on stage)
10:20 am Second Grade students rotate the circle to the front and sing a song
10:24 am Elementary Musical Theater sing from "Frozen" on stage
10:29 am Third Grade students rotate the circle to the front and sing a song
10:33 am "Let It Go" Sing along from Frozen (ALL students)
10:37 am 4th & 5th Grade Sing "Momiji" with Glockenspiel Hand Bells
10:41 am AHS Vocal Soul on stage
10:53 am ALL Students sing:  "Hot Chocolate Song"
