Board Meeting Information
The Albany Board of Education (the "School Board") meets approximately twice per month on Tuesday evenings during the school year. All Board meetings are open to the public and we encourage the community to attend. Most regular meetings are held at Albany City Hall, 1000 San Pablo Ave., Albany, CA. Any change in the location of a regular meeting will be noted on the meeting agenda. Special meetings, workshops, and emergency meetings are typically held at a school site. Schedules for Regular Board meetings are approved each Spring for the following year. Click here to see the Board-approved schedule for the upcoming year. *Special meetings and workshops are not included in the approved schedule, but will be added to the list of upcoming meetings as needed.

Notice Regarding Board Meeting Presentations
Presentations provided during Board meetings are supplemental materials and may not be included in the agenda packet prior to the meeting. In accordance with the Brown Act (Gov. Code § 54957.5), if Board members receive these materials less than 72 hours before a regular meeting, they will be made available for public inspection at the same time. Any materials presented at the meeting that are not available online will be provided in paper form at the meeting and may be posted online afterward. While the Brown Act does not require these materials to be posted online for meetings broadcast or held via Zoom, we make every effort to make them accessible online when feasible to promote transparency and public participation.

HOW TO ACCESS AGENDAS, AGENDA PACKETS, MINUTES, & VIDEOS:
This table includes links to Agendas, Agenda Packets, Minutes, and Videos (if available). Meetings will show up in "Current and Upcoming Events" once the materials are posted. Agenda packets may be viewed as HTML or downloadable PDF files. Meeting Minutes are posted after the Board approves them at a future meeting. If you see 3 dots in the table, click on that for a drop-down with links to access materials. After opening the HTML Agenda Packet, DO NOT CLICK the "View Details" box to access attachments. Instead, click on the title of the item and a drop-down list of attachments will appear. Then click on the eye to open the attachment in the browser, or the arrow to download it.

When the meetings have ended, they will move to the section "Archived Meetings" in the table. You can also search by keyword or meeting date.
