Dear Albany Middle School Staff, Parents, and Community:
We are writing to update you on the latest facilities developments. PG&E has capped the electric at our San Gabriel campus. As a result, we will begin demolition of the building on Monday, September 8th. We expect the demolition to take approximately two weeks. It will then take about two more weeks to prepare the site to be used as a parking lot for our teachers. Therefore, from September 8th to approximately the middle of October, teachers will be parking on the street. We have shared out the street sweeping schedule with them.
Additionally, we will be hosting a meeting for neighbors to come and talk with us about facilities so that we can keep you informed and better understand your concerns. This meeting will be held in the Albany Middle School Library on September 8th from 6PM to 7PM. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us at the email listed below.
