Dear AUSD Families,
We are saddened and dismayed at the events that occurred in Charlottesville, Virginia, and we stand with their community in solidarity against hate and oppression. In Albany USD, we value the variety of cultures, experiences, religions, and beliefs that our students and families bring to our school community, and we welcome ALL of our children to Albany schools. AUSD is committed to ensuring that all students have a safe and inclusive learning environment, and we also stand with the City of Albany in our collective resolve to stand against all forms of exclusion, hatred, and bigotry.
