The process to stabilize the budget has been extended to January 2019 due to new funding proposed from the State. This has allowed us more time to discuss priorities in AUSD. Next steps are to form a board-appointed budget committee that will review data, engage stakeholders, and provide recommendations to the Superintendent. The creation of this committee is currently under discussion by the Board of Education.
