Their recent fundraiser at Chipotle was a great success. The Best Buddies raised $949 for their club! Sam Haller, an AMS moderate/severe special day class teacher led everyone safely to Chipotle on the club's first walking trip. The kids had a great time chatting the whole way. Karen Bonini, an AMS moderate/severe inclusion teacher met the group at the party. The Best Buddies are appreciative of the supportive community and are grateful for everyone's effort and support! Their next task is generating ideas on how to spend the money. The kids suggested replenishing their games and using some for their year end banquet! Karen and Sam are extraordinary, caring teachers; we are fortunate to have them on our Special Education team.
