Jingle Jamboree Music Club Performs in Disneyland

The 42 members of the Jingle Jamboree Music Club Show Choir  really represented Albany Unified in an amazing way at Disneyland. Their performance was above perfect and their behavior was too. They behaved very professionally and were respectful of all Disney personnel, AUSD Teacher and Parents.
The 4th & 5th Graders participated in a workshop backstage Disney on Monday and had the honor of having a teacher who is a Broadway star and the creator of the Show Choir program at Disney. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th Graders had a different workshop with a choreographer who has worked for NBC, CBS, Touchstone Pictures, Orange County High School of the Arts and is a current professor in the Show Choir department at Cal State Fullerton. It was an amazing experience for the children as they rehearsed and learned in a Disney dance studio with a sound and video technician who recorded the experience for them.
On Tuesday the children performed a 30-minute show with professional sound system and a light show in the background (you can see part of it in the picture). The children had a perfect performance and everything went according to plan. Disney presented each student with a Disney Performing Arts Backpack.
