At the October 23, 2018 Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Val Williams presented to the school board a number of options for temporarily housing Ocean View students while the school is being renovated/rebuilt. The Board received feedback from the community and welcomes further community input. The Board requested that this item be agendized as a review and action item at the November 27, 2018 Board of Education Meeting. The Board asked the Superintendent to explore any available schools in nearby cities to lease, to determine the possibility of utilizing current portables and/or adding portables on the OV site to house some grade levels, and to bring this information back to the Board on November 27th.
