At the January 8, 2019 Board of Education meeting, the School Board voted to expand the Budget Advisory Committee membership. The Board revised the purpose of the committee to create strategies to achieve and maintain a balanced District budget. The Board also determined that the Budget Advisory Committee will be a standing committee with a two (2) year term of office. Consistent attendance is necessary, and there will be no less than six (6) meetings annually.

Citizens of Albany and employees of the Albany Unified School District, are invited and encouraged to apply for positions on the Budget Advisory Committee.
