The new Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) members were appointed at the Special Board of Education meeting on January 30th. The BAC met on Thursday, February 7th at 5:30 pm in the AHS Library. All BAC meetings are posted on the district's website per the Brown Act. Meetings are open to the public. Upcoming meetings will be held on February 14 and February 27.
Some positions on the BAC remain unfilled: 2 teachers, 1 CSEA, 1SEIU, 1 Student, 1 Community member. Interested persons can submit an application and letter of intent. The application can be found on the AUSD website. If we receive letters of intent and applications, we will bring them to the Board for review and approval at a future Board of Education meeting.
