Superintendent Sara Stone

I’d like to take this opportunity to share more about myself and my excitement for the journey ahead. First and foremost, I am truly honored to join this remarkable school district and to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team of educators. I deeply believe that successful outcomes for students are the result of strong, collaborative teams, and I am confident in the strength of this one. I also believe our shared core values will guide us as we continue to grow and succeed together.

 

My personal core values—curiosity, transparency, liberation, creativity, and integrity—inform how I approach leadership and decision-making. Over the coming months, I am eager to learn what inspires you, the values you hold dear, and how we can collectively define and live out our shared core values in how we educate Albany students. I am thrilled to begin this work with you, and I can’t wait to see all that we will accomplish together.
