On May 31, eight staff members attended the Trauma Informed Practices training with Kelli Rizzi, Director of School and District Support for Shasta County. The training was excellent and gave multiple strategies for teachers and administrators to use with students who have suffered or are suffering from trauma. Ms. Rizzi covered eight topics and allowed participants to practice many of the strategies during the training.
