AUSD plans to fully reopen for the 2021-2022 school year, stated Superintendent Frank Wells. He continued, “Albany Unified School District expects to open the 2021-2022 school year with fully in-person instruction. It is impossible to predict future conditions, but at this time, AUSD expects to return to classroom instruction for all grades.”

On October 8, 2020, the School Board voted to approve the Superintendent's plan to pivot from a 100% remote-learning model of instruction to a hybrid model of instruction. Click the link above to read more...
