Advisory Committee News

AUSD is seeking applicants to serve on the newly formed Board-Appointed Student Achievement Committee. The purpose of the Student Achievement Committee is to serve as the advisory body for the District’s Local Control and Accountability Plan development process;  review student achievement metrics and recommend strategies to close equity and opportunity gaps; and review social emotional/mental health metrics and recommend strategies to close equity and opportunity gaps. Parents/guardians representing various student groups are encouraged to apply. The original Maddy Act Notice posted has been extended and will remain open until all positions have been filled.
